Forte Village Resort - Bouganville

Amazing resort! Still nothing similar I didn't met for 3 years! Sport, food, SPA, beaches, sun and clean sea! Every day live music show, famous artists, best beauty specialists and very friendly stuff! Unique place! Many guests come here every year for many years! Safe! Kids can be without parents all day,but always under surveillance! Come and you will return for sure!

We went on a work annual vacation. First evening flushed the toilet everything came up from the shower. Maintenance came quickly still disgusting. Kids loved the place. Lots of pools and activities they had a great time. There’s a lot of food. Fish and meat were very good but vegetarian and vegan food was tasteless. Two bottles of mineral water was in the mini bar but not filled after first day. All in all I think we could find better for the same amount of money

Our family loved our two-week trip to Forte Village! We stayed in the Bougainvillea Resort section and in a deluxe family bungalow half board. About the room: for a family of four, 2 adults and two children there was just enough space. We had perfect June weather, maybe one rain shower and spent very little time during the day in it, if the weather had been bad, maybe a larger unit would have been appreciated. The housekeeping was amazing, seriously better than many five star hotels that I have stayed at. Location right in the center of everything. The activities: our sons loved the football camp and the fields where the place to be for families. The coaches gave their time and you could see they loved kids. After every camp, kids where welcome to continue playing. After dinner our 7 and 9 year old sons would leave the restaurant and rush to football fields, they would play with friends they met and we would have to drag them away, seriously around 11pm. Luckily right next to the fields was a cool bar, and we enjoyed socializing with other parents and having cocktails. Our sons also had tennis lessons and swimming (shout out to Daniel who had just started at the resort. He taught our sons more in two weeks than years in swim camps in Florida). The beach: was great, we actually didn’t visit it much, to much hassle to find a chair, and the water was very cloudy and wavy the first week. But the 2nd week it rivalled the water you can find in Barbados and St. Barts, just a tad cool but bet by July it would have been wonderful. Instead we spent most of our time at the pools and they have great pools. My kids loved the aqua park and we loved the Oasis pool. At the aqua park the staff at the pool bar were amazing. Francesca was so open, accommodating and provided great service. The life guards did a good job controlling the kids. Food, great to terrible. Great was the Cavalieri Restaurant buffet, this was an amazing place, really never experienced anything like it in our travels to Mexico and Caribbean resorts, take a top 5 star in a Mexican resort buffet and this place is a 7 star for comparison. We ate here most times. The steak house, had tough over cooked steaks but at least it was included in our rate. The pizza restaurant was good but not great. Our worst experience was the Beachcomber by Heinz Beck a celebrity chef. We went twice for lunch, both times terrible. First time one of my sons ordered the chicken strips for kids, they were dry and over cooked, I tried one and could not chew through it. When I pointed it out to the server, she said, I’m sorry next time you come we will try to do better (not a 3, 4 or even 5 star restaurant response), I had their shrimp pasta and I didn’t see more than two shrimp cut into 10 parts served with a semi clear pink sauce that tasted like stale fish, I left almost untouched. They serve farmed salmon yet Sardinia is famous for their fresh fish. The 2nd time I and my other two sons ordered hamburgers, they were inedible! The beef cooked so hard it was like a hockey puck and the buns even harder, really not exaggerating it was that hard. Family of four with over priced bottle of Rose wine was almost $300 Euros each lunch. We never went to any the other celebrity chef restaurants after this terrible experience, not worth it. Forte Village management, if you read this, you have to do something. Families we met all gave negative feed back on this restaurant, it was a favorite topic of mine after wasting so much Euro’s there and I wanted affirmation that it wasn’t just an American point of view or taste. Overall, we had an amazing experience. We loved the resort, how they treat the kids, safety, etc. It’s a long trip from Florida to Sardinia but we are thinking about coming again.

This huge resort is such a great place. It has a variaty of sport courts, an amazing children's world (mini city, pool, a huge Barbie doll house), lovely swimming pools, one of which has controlled water temperature, great food and a great service. Our little villa (1 living room/children sleeping room, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom) was so nicely decorated, with big rooms and a huge bathroom, with a small private garden. There are also a bowling alley, go cart track, Formula1 simulation, computer games room and many more extras. Our family of 5 had a wonderful time!
